I said I was going to resurrect this blog, and I have yet to do so, I started this back in early ’08, then deleted everything because I wasn’t happy with it and restarted, and then ignored it. Then recently decided to start over again and deleted every post but 1.. my small tribute post to the worlds greatest racing driver, Ayrton Senna. Who is the subject of this post as well, because yesterday Top Gear did a tribute to him (season 15 episode 5) talking about his life, his accomplishments, his driving style and then let Lewis Hamilton take Senna’s old car out for a few laps. Hearing that car start up was probably my favorite Top Gear moment so far. So if you haven’t done so already I urge you to watch that episode, I am not going to post it because it will probably be deleted at some point, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find if you are computer literate.
Today (actually tomorrow, we’ve gone over the wordpress posts a day ahead thing) is the 15th anniversary of the death of racing legend Ayrton Senna. I thought it much more appropriate to dedicate a post to him than to another car. Rather than have a post full of heavy hearted words I found a video that used to be on youtube, downloaded it and reuploaded it, if it gets deleted I will include a link to where I found it.
Here is a link to the video if youtube deletes mine.. I suggest you watch it.
R.I.P. Ayrton Senna (March 21, 1960 – May 1, 1994)
